Piva Deacon Made to Order - Emerald with Gold Embroidery

The richly embroidered cuffs and orarion in shades of gold and coloured thread, contrast with the somewhat sparsely decorated stiharion on your choice of coloured poly silk shantung. With crosses and roundels scattered across the stiharion, PIVA echoes the style of vestments we often see in the 12th and 13th century frescoes which adorn many of the late Byzantine churches of the Balkans, Mt Athos and further east.

The stiharion is light-weight and fully lined. The set of vestments for deacon includes stiharion, orarion and cuffs.

As with all our made to measure vestments, you can add any of the hand embroidered icons seen on our website to the various pieces of vesture.

ABOUT OUR STANDARD SIZING

The stiharion length is adjustable enabling it to be easily lengthened by up to 2 inches (5cm).
The felonion is generously proportioned, the back length finishing 6-8 inches (15-20cm) off the floor.
The RIZA cut will accommodate marginally smaller or larger body types in each size.
The epitrahilion has a slightly dropped front neck for comfortable movement and is finished with tassels at the hem.
Tassels can be shortened by up to 2 inches (5cm) to accommodate personal preference.

Your RIZA STANDARD SIZE will provide you with a good fit, with few exceptions.
