Iviron

This set of festive vestments is inspired by one of the many exquisite stoles in the treasury of the Iviron Monastery on Mt. Athos, the ornamentation of which is characteristic of the 16th century Cretan School of embroidery.

The set can be complimented with the resplendent stoles shown here individually, whilst the epigonation, cuffs and the back of the felonion can be embellished with icons of your choice.

IVIRON is also available with the Athonite or Russian high back yoke, as seen in the image of the purple Lenten set of vestments.

As with all our made to measure vestments, you can add any of the hand embroidered icons seen on our website to the various pieces of vesture.

If you do not see it on the website, please email us photographs of any specially requested icons you may wish to include. We hand embroider all our icons, so everything is possible.

ABOUT OUR STANDARD SIZING

The stiharion length is adjustable enabling it to be easily lengthened by up to 2 inches (5cm).
The felonion is generously proportioned, the back length finishing 6-8 inches (15-20cm) off the floor.
The RIZA cut will accommodate marginally smaller or larger body types in each size.
The epitrahilion has a slightly dropped front neck for comfortable movement and is finished with tassels at the hem.
Tassels can be shortened by up to 2 inches (5cm) to accommodate personal preference.
Compare your own measurements with your RIZA STANDARD SIZE.
Your RIZA STANDARD SIZE will provide you with a good fit, with few exceptions.
